Fort Peachtree was built in the spring of 1814 at the junction of Peachtree Creek and the Chattahoochee River. The fort was intended to serve as a supply depot for American forces.

This reconstruction of the fort, located in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, Georgia, near a waterworks facility, stands near the original location of the structure. The site is restricted, but open to the public with permission from the city.
