This selection of historic sites is located primarily in eastern Alabama and western Georgia. It includes numerous forts and battle sites connected with some of the largest but least understood campaigns of the war, such as the battles of Autossee and Calebee Creek.

This section of the website focuses on the campaigns of Andrew Jackson and other commanders of the Tennessee militia, resulting in battles including the final showdown with Red Stick forces at Horseshoe Bend.
