Nuyaka was a Creek town located on the Tallapoosa River opposite Tohopeka. The town’s residents abandoned the town in the fall of 1813, and it was subsequently destroyed by troops under the command of
Major General David Adams in December of 1813.  

The site of the town is today located within the boundaries of the Horseshoe Bend Military Park, across the Tallapoosa River from the Horseshoe Bend battlefield.
